An America tradition of Thanksgiving, giving thanks for what we have, became an international event in Leon Nicaragua. The picture represents volunteers from five countries, who not only are willing to help others, but are grateful for the opportunity. I am so encouraged when I am with people from around the world who are willing to give their time and resources to serve others. As the American tradition goes we all went around the table to give thanks. The usual comments being thankful for family and friends was mentioned, but everyone went beyond their immediate world in giving thanks. All who were present spoke of helping others who need a helping hand to free themselves from abusers, and people who are denying them of their equal rights and opportunities. I would like to thank all who have worked with or indirectly with Victims Services International this year. We have an exciting project in Leon, and other projects around Central America.
