In a remote town on the Pacific Ocean a community is working together to change a culture. Potosi Nicaragua resident Ana godoy has been the community promoter and leader for six years. What sets this small town apart is the women’s support group leader Ana, the education minister,a pastor, and the police chief are all working together to change the culture. Potosi is 60 kilometers from Accion Movimentio Mujeres Chinadega, who sends a psychologist weekly to provide therapy, education, and encouragement. Congratulations Potosi for being an example for all of us who want to change a culture of violence.
